Considering that the Spanish Lazarus group under the leadership of the Duke of Seville and his supporters with headquarters in Canada does not possess any "fons honorum" this group can be seen as a kind of noble association only without any chivalric character. The web site www.st-lazarus.net has nothing to do with the Military and Hospitaller Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem under the patronage of the Crown of France.
Additionally it must be noted that the group led by the Dukes of Brissac ("acting Grand Master") and of Seville ("Grand Master elect") are managed by a number of confessed freemasons. All Christian denominations except the Anglican Church have prohibited their faithful to participate in any Masonic organisation.
The so-called "Independent Commandery of Berlin-Ostelbien" (Berlin, Germany), whose homepage URL is: http://www.lazarus-orden.de, is not a part of any branch and has no connection to the Military and Hospitaller Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem. This association is considered not to be a chivalric institution of any kind.
Though he is a former accredited member of the Malta Obedience, the views of Dr. Allan Inovius and his self-styled "Pannonian Sovereign Military and Hospitaller Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem (Budapest, Hungary) as expressed in his web site (http://www.saint-lazarus.org) should be regarded as his private and personal views only; there is no connection between this association and the Military and Hospitaller Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem under the patronage of the Crown of France. Ths organisation is considered not to be a chivalric one.
Furthermore there are no connections of any kind with the following spurious web site:
There are a number of other web sites existing with the name "Order of St. Lazarus". Even if they are established by Jurisdictions of our Order as long as they are not hyperlinked they all are considered to be private and personal ones, neither approved nor connected with the Military and Hospitaller Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem under the patronage of the Crown of France.
According to the rules set forth in its Constitution (part 1, chapter 2, section 12) beside those decorations awarded by an existing state or founded on national (e.g. Austria, Germany) or international (e.g. United Nations, Red Cross) laws the Military and Hospitaller Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem, Obedience of Malta, acknowledges only those orders and decorations listed by the ICOC (International Commission of Orders of Chivalry). There are also a small number of decorations founded by high ranked representatives (patriarchs and diocese bishops) of publicly acknowledged churches, which are accepted by the Order.
Beside our own homepage we acknowledge also those established by the "United Grand Priories of the Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem" (http://www.saintlazarus.co.uk and http://www.saintlazarus.org) as this group, not styling itself as a chivalric Order under a Grand Master, has signed the Alliance Treaty.
There are no relations or connections to any other group styling itself "Order of St. Lazarus", which is considered illegitimate.
